Process
Discovery
This stage is about defining your business goals and matching that with a vision, We define a Scope of work(SOW) and go about establishing a deep understanding of what is required in detail and when. Scope of Work includes:
- Vision and Scope
Now that we are working together, nailing down the exact scope of the project and vision will be a joint effort, either by a workshop, briefing documents or preferably in-person (location permitting). - User Requirements
With a basic understanding of the demographics, we will want to establish the user requirements – which can include Demographic understanding, navigational considerations, site size/speed and more. - Technical Requirements
Depending on the size and scope of the project, we will identify what is required technically to achieve our scope, TR often change during the project, good planning and communication allows for this to be fluid, at a minimal expense. - Planning and Resource Management
Here, we will identify the resources involved, timeline, approval process, project management, deliverables
and check-points.
Project Kick-Off
With the SOW signed off, the next stage gets everyone on the same page to insure a successful project. Here we all agree on the timelines, workflow, requirements and strategy to achieve maximum impact and user engagement. This includes:
- Workflow Establishment
During a Kick-Off meeting, our respective resources will be identified, and responsible parties (team members with sign-off and approval authority) will be identified. - Project Discussion
This discussion will allow both sides to explore the project holistically as well as the surrounding environment; the project brief highlights a lot of the possible issues through a series of questions. - Personify Requirements
Each project has Primary and secondary demographic targets, and this is where we carefully identify our targets and what makes them tick, we find their strengths and weaknesses to ensure maximum reach and leverage. - Target Strategy
With the Personas identified, the next task is to identify how we reach them with the greatest amount of success, in the easiest way, with the clearest delivery possible.
Early Production Process
Now that the holistic project details and marketing data has been organized, sorted and documented, it is time to get down to the actual production. This is where solutions are explored. From page layout to interactive prototypes, this stage defines the design and functionality. This will include:
- Wireframing
The pretty stick figure drawings (blueprints) for each project, Our wireframe gives clients a transparent view of what we are building, before we begin to apply the designs. - User Journeys
With User Profiles defined, we now analyse the various journey each user takes during their engagement life cycle, which include step-by-step points from the discovery, to its use, and re-engagement. - Conceptual Design
With the wireframes signed off, we explore the design direction that best matches the user experience, while at the same time project your brand in the highest regard. - Milestones, Benchmarks
Defined during the Kick-Off, we will encounter the first milestones during this phase, which vary in degree and intensity depending on the size of the project.
Production to Delivery Transition
The final stage, where development is completed, designs tweaked and a final round of review is completed to ensure it meets 1MD quality. Only then do we deliver the project to our client. Steps include:
- Development
Once the Wireframes have been completed, the project undergoes the backend development process, which includes the technical build, Once the front end design is setup the front end integration takes place. - Design Signoff
After rounds of feedback, the final design is approved and integrated into the sites information architecture. - User Testing
We test and test and test and test. Our clients test and we test again, on every platform, every browser on every operating system not stopping until it meets our extremely high standards. - Delivery
Once the project ready for launch we do a project handover, along with a last minutes checklist of housekeeping. - Launch Support
We offer Support for what we do, and guarantee each line of code we deliver; we establish our client relationships so that going forward our clients’ needs are always our highest priority.
